Queen Elizabeth National Park enjoys a fabulous rift valley location at the foot of Mt Rwenzori between Lakes George and Edward. Savannah, acacia woodland, forest, wetland and open water support a wide range of animals and remarkable 604 bird species.

Tour itinerary :

Day One:

 

At 0630hrs meet and assist at your residence in Kampala and proceed through volcanic formations of the Western Rift Valley towards Queen Elizabeth National Park. The descent reveals a stunning panorama of Lakes George and Edward amidst game-filled plains. In the evening, proceed for a game-drive, before retiring at your preferred accommodation facility.


Day Two:

Wake-up and follow your adventure instincts on a sunrise game-drive. Queen Elizabeth National Park's diverse Eco-system of grassy plains, tropical forest, rivers, swamps, lakes and volcanic craters is home to an incredible abundance of wildlife. Game drives in this park, with the massive Rwenzoris as a backdrop provides excellent opportunities to see lion, leopard, giant forest hog, Cape buffalo, elephants, de fassa waterbuck, Uganda Kob, Topi and bush buck.

 

The afternoon boat-cruise offers an excellent platform for photography and game viewing. The birdlife is colorful and abundant. You will be privileged to see schools of hippos and Nile-crocodiles sunbathing and opening wide their saw-like jaws. Return to your accommodation facility for overnight.

 

Day Three:

 

After an early breakfast, check-out and transfer to Kyambura section of Queen Elizabeth National Park. This is a rare occasion for you to follow the path of evolution as you track

 

“man’s closest cousins”; chimpanzees. Thereafter transfer to Ishasha section famous for its tree climbing lions. Have an evening game drive to end your day in an adventurous manner.

 

Day Four:

 

Have a morning game drive as you exit the park heading back to Kampala. Drop off at your residence.

 

End of Service.
